Meet Our Staff
Sarah Yu
Editor-in-Chief
Sarah is a senior at the Pingry School in New Jersey. By writing and editing for Locke & Key, she hopes to improve her writing and explore unconventional topics. Outside of school, she is involved with her county's youth council, leads her library's crochet club, and is always eager to play spike ball. At her school she is a co-leader of her Model UN club and writes for her school's current affairs magazine Vital Signs.
Rachel Stein

Rachel is currently a senior at Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR), in New York. Through editing and writing for the Locke & Publications she hopes to explore her interests and learn about new topics. At her school she is the captain of the debate team, and writes for the school paper. She also enjoys doing puzzles, reading, and crochet.

Olivia is a high school senior. At Locke & Key, she combines her love of tech with her passion for storytelling and collaborative creativity. Outside of publication, she can usually be found experimenting with new coding projects or playing with her dog.

Lauren is currently a senior at The Pingry School in New Jersey. At Locke & Key, she brings awareness to topics surrounding her love for the Humanities. Outside of academics, Lauren loves reading, doing pottery, and playing ice hockey.

Rudra Dumolia

Rudra Dumolia is a junior in high school from India and a passionate video editor who has edited for YouTubers as well as for his own projects. He runs a YouTube channel focused on car edits and creates videos, animations, and posters. He is continuously learning and improving his skills while exploring new areas of digital creativity. He joined to sharpen his craft alongside other creators and gain new perspectives on editing and design.

Madhav Anil is an 11th-grade student studying the humanities in Prayagraj, India. He currently works as a writer, editor, reviewer and interviewer for over a dozen magazines and publishers. He is an insatiable reader and firmly believes that emoticons will save society :D
Nada Abou-zhar

Nada Abou-zhar is from Yassamine International school in Morocco. Nada joined Locke & Key key in hopes of challenging her thinking, meeting new people, and staying curious.
Avni Kakra

Avni is a writer, translator, and dancer from Jersey City who believes every sentence deserves at least one unnecessary revision. Her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and she serves as co-president of her school's Creative Writing Club and treasurer of McNair Academic's NEHS. When she isn't writing, she can usually be found foraging, dancing Kathak, arguing over word choice, or wandering secondhand bookstores.
