Olivia Barsemian
Website Director
Olivia is a high school junior. At Locke & Key, she combines her love of tech with her passion for storytelling and collaborative creativity. Outside of publication, she can usually be found experimenting with new coding projects or playing with her dog.
Rachel Stein
Vice Editor-in-Chief
Rachel is currently a junior at Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway ( HAFTR), in New York. Through editing and writing for the Locke & Publications she hopes to explore her interests and learn about new topics. At her school she is the captain of the debate team, and writes for the school paper. She also enjoys doing puzzles, reading, and crochet.

Sarah is a senior at the Pingry School in New Jersey. By writing and editing for Locke & Key she hopes to improve her writing and explore unconventional topics. Outside of school, she is involved with her county's youth council, leads her library's crochet club, and is always eager to play spike ball. At her school she is a co-leader of her Model UN club and writes for her school's current affairs magazine Vital Signs.

Lauren is currently a rising senior at The Pingry School in New Jersey. At Locke & Key, she brings awareness to topics surrounding her love for the Humanities. Outside of academics, Lauren loves reading, doing pottery, and playing ice hockey.

Avni Kakra
Staff Writer
Avni is a writer, translator, and dancer from Jersey City who believes every sentence deserves at least one unnecessary revision. Her work has been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, and she serves as co-president of her school's Creative Writing Club and treasurer of McNair Academic's NEHS. When she isn't writing, she can usually be found foraging, dancing Kathak, arguing over word choice, or wandering secondhand bookstores.
